Microsoft will release Office 2021 without a subscription

Microsoft has announced the release date for the Office 2021 suite of office applications for users. Basically, a note on the official Microsoft blog talks about the launch of the licensing of the volume version of Office 2021 LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel), focused on situations when devices cannot be connected to the network for a long time and receive updates. But it also mentions the main office solution for ordinary PC users based on Windows and macOS - Office 2021.

So, Office 2021 will be available to users on the same day as the new Windows 11 operating system - October 5, 2021.

Like the previous release, Office 2019, the Office 2021 suite is designed for users who prefer to pay once rather than subscribe to Microsoft 365 recurring deductions. Microsoft has been heavily promoting Microsoft Office 365 in recent years and has made a subscription distribution model the mainstream of its Office suite.

Introduced in March, Office LTSC received features such as full support for the dark theme, enhancements for users with disabilities, and features like dynamic arrays and row search in XLOOKUP tables (LOOKUPX) for Excel. The consumer Office 2021 is expected to receive similar innovations.
