The Nigerian government, through the Ministry of Information and Culture, announced its decision to suspend the operations of the social networking platform Twitter in the country. Twitter has deleted tweets and videos of President Muhammadu Buhari threatening to punish a separatist organization called IPOB in the southeastern part of the country.
