Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart sold better in the second week than in the first
Last week in the ranking of the best-selling boxes in the United Kingdom brought a relatively rare case where the game was to sell more copies in the second week than in its opening. This title became the latest PS5 exclusivity Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (review here ), whose sales increased by 2%, which caused it to safely still warm up in the first place.
In any case, second place is also a surprise. It got the casual ARPG Minecraft Dungeons, which shot 28 places and 758%. This fact was due to the reduction in the Switch version of the game, which caused 96% of total title sales in the past week.
However, other games in the rankings also experienced a week of increase, when, for example, FIFA 21 sales jumped by 21%, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe by 47%, and Resident Evil Village by 59%. However, projects outside the top ten also jumped, when, for example, Forza Horizon 4 ranked from an increase of 480%, which put it in 22nd place.
Among the news, we could find Metro Exodus: Complete Edition, which reached 17th place, when 77% of sales came from the PS5 version.
However, some falls occurred. For example, Chivalry 2 reached 28th place with a 65% drop, and Final Fantasy VII: Remake - Intergrade and Guilty Gear Strive did not even make it into the forty best-selling games.
The complete ranking of the ten best-selling titles looks like this:
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Minecraft Dungeons
FIFA 21
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
Resident Evil Village
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
