According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Long March 7 Yao 6 carrier rocket for the Tianzhou 5 mission has completed all the research and development work before leaving the factory. On October 11, 2022, Beijing time, arrived at the Wenchang Space Launch Site safely. After that, the Long March 7 Yao 6 carrier rocket will carry out the final assembly and testing of the launch site area together with the Tianzhou 5 cargo spacecraft that arrived earlier.
At present, the construction of the space station has entered the final stage. According to the plan, before the end of the year, four missions, including the Mengtian experimental module, the flight of Tianzhou 5, the flight of Shenzhou 15, and the return of Shenzhou 14, will be implemented to complete the construction of the space station.
At present, the flight products for the above-mentioned tasks have all entered the field. Wenchang Space Launch Site 2 arrows and 2 cabins (ships) are tested in the field at the same time. Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center simultaneously prepares for the launch and recovery of manned spacecraft, and the measurement and control communication system Lu Haitian Relays and all-weather duty ensure the safe and stable operation of the space station. More than half of the Shenzhou 14 astronauts are on business trips in orbit, and the Shenzhou 15 crew is intensifying training. Various space science experiments are steadily and steadily progressing, and phased results have been achieved.
On October 9, the space station Mengtian experimental module completed the propellant filling as planned. Since the Mengtian experimental module arrived at the Wenchang space launch site, it has completed the final assembly and testing of the technical area and will carry out a joint inspection of system functions with the Long March 5B Yao-4 launch vehicle in the future. At present, the facilities and equipment of the Wenchang Space Launch Site are in good condition, and the systems participating in the test are undergoing mission preparations in an orderly manner.
After the Mengtian experimental module is launched, it will eventually form a T-shaped configuration with the Tianhe core module and the Wentian experimental module, which also marks the completion of the National Space Laboratory.
The construction of the Chinese space station will be completed this year. As the largest and long-term manned space experiment platform in my country's aerospace history, the Chinese space station will be used in space life science and human research, microgravity physical science, space astronomy, and earth after its completion.
