Tik Tok allows you to apply for a job

TikTok is testing a job application tool that allows its users to apply directly with video resumes for companies like Chipotle, Target, and Shopify. The short-term beta program, called TikTok Resumes, stems from the content that has surfaced across the platform, such as #CareerTok, and the company's intentional initiatives to influence college students and younger users.

More than 30 companies have registered to accept resumes for the pilot program, which runs through July 31. Users have to create a video CV and post it on Tik Tok and then send that video to recruiters through the app. A beta tutorial video recommends that applicants not include personal contact information such as their email address in a publicly shared video.

Some of the jobs listed currently include creating content for the platform, which means that more brands are adopting the platform with content developers.

The platform said, we are excited to launch TikTok Resumes as a beta program designed to continue expanding and strengthening our position as a new channel for recruitment and job discovery. We cooperate with selected companies and invite job seekers to apply for jobs with employers.

For example, Alo Yoga is hiring a Social Media Manager through TikTok Resumes who develops TikTok's branding strategy and partnerships with influencers.

Others are looking for video hosts and producers to work across multiple platforms. Companies like Target, Chipotle, Sweetgreen, and Great Clips use the platform to find employees to work in stores and warehouses. With some full-time jobs. Shopify is looking to hire a Chief Data Engineer through the pilot program.

While the trial version is temporary. It shows how the platform thinks about training and installing an ecosystem of professional content creators to enhance its impact. The pilot program is an easy way to match companies with influential content creators looking for a full-time job.

Tik Tok is an entertainment platform powered by a community that nurtures culture. Across the platform, the creators are redefining entertainment from movies to sports to fashion, music, lifestyle, and the workplace.

And with the advent of creative job-related content. The platform believes that there is an opportunity to bring more value to people's experiences by enhancing the platform's usefulness as a channel for recruitment.
