Amazon's cloud storage service Amazon Drive will officially shut down next year

Andy Jassy, CEO of American technology giant Amazon, is actively cutting costs, and Alexa, robotics, retail, and other departments are all affected. Today, Amazon announced that its cloud storage service, Amazon Drive, will be officially shut down on December 31, 2023.

At present, the Amazon Drive official website has released an announcement, and Amazon has also sent emails to users who use the service. Amazon stated that it will no longer accept new file uploads from January 31, 2023, but users can continue to access files before that date, and will no longer support adding or modifying files after that.

Amazon Drive users can access and download files until December 31, 2023, after which date the service will be officially shut down and all users will not be able to access Amazon Drive.

Amazon recommends that users can continue to save photos and videos to Amazon Drive and then access them through Amazon Photos. Unlike Drive, the Photos service is still live. Users can access uploaded pictures and videos on the Amazon Photos website or application.
