Apple iOS 16.1 Beta 4 adds Paste from other apps switch

Yesterday, Apple pushed the iOS 16.1 developer preview and public beta Beta 4 updates to iPhone users, with the internal version number 20B5064c. In iOS 16.1 Beta 4, Apple added the "Paste from other apps" switch, allowing users to choose three ways: Ask, Deny, and Allow when pasting from other apps. It should be noted that the application needs to pop up the paste pop-up window to display this switch in the settings.

On September 13, Apple pushed the official iOS 16 update to users. After the update, many users found that every time iOS 16 pastes content from one app to another, the iPhone will pop up a window asking whether to allow it.

Subsequently, in the official version of iOS 16.0.2 released in late September, Apple fixed an issue where copying and pasting between apps could cause more permission prompts than expected. When the user is actively pasting, it is no longer necessary to explicitly approve whether to allow pasting.
