BYD Launches "Tian Shen Eye" High-Level Intelligent Driving Assistance System

BYD Auto today announced the launch of its "Tian Shen Eye" high-level intelligent driving assistance system. The system is said to be the world's first to be fully designed, developed, and produced by an automaker.

The Tian Shen Eye system is based on BYD's own self-developed computing platform, which is said to be capable of processing up to 100 billion operations per second. The system also uses a total of 31 sensors, including 12 ultrasonic sensors, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 4 high-definition cameras.

The Tian Shen Eye system is capable of a wide range of autonomous driving functions, including lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking. The system is also said to be able to handle more complex driving scenarios, such as merging onto highways and changing lanes.

BYD claims that the Tian Shen Eye system is the most advanced intelligent driving assistance system on the market. The system is currently available on the new Tang EV and Song Plus EV models, and it will be rolled out to other BYD models in the future.

The launch of the Tian Shen Eye system is a significant milestone for BYD. The system demonstrates BYD's commitment to developing advanced automotive technologies. It also shows that BYD is serious about competing with Tesla and other global automakers in the autonomous driving market.

In addition to the Tian Shen Eye system, BYD also announced a number of other new features for its electric vehicles at the launch event. These features include a new battery management system that promises to improve battery life, a new infotainment system with a larger touchscreen display, and a new range of driver assistance features.
