Changan Lumin Waxy Corn Miniature Electric Vehicle Gets Price Adjustment

Changan Automobile has announced price adjustments for its Lumin waxy corn miniature electric vehicle (EV) range. The increase for the entire series will range from 1,000 to 6,000 yuan, with the Lumin 155km clear sweet model and Lumin 210km sweet model seeing an increase of 1,000 yuan, and the Lumin 301km honey sweet model experiencing a 6,000 yuan increase.

These price adjustments will come into effect on January 1, and will result in a new price range of 49,900 to 69,900 yuan for the Changan Lumin waxy corn EV. It is not clear at this time what has prompted the price increases.

The Changan Lumin is powered by Changan's EPA0 pure electric platform and is designed specifically for use as a pure electric transportation model. Its compact size and cute design, with a two-door, four-seater layout, make it well-suited for urban environments.

In terms of dimensions, the Lumin measures 3270mm in length, 1700mm in width, and 1545mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1980mm. These dimensions give it a small and agile profile, making it easy to navigate through busy city streets.

The interior of the Changan Lumin waxy corn is designed with simplicity in mind. It features a digital instrument display and a floating LCD screen in the central control area, giving the driver access to a range of important vehicle information and controls.

The interior also offers a choice of two different styles: cool black minimalist and soft-spoken. These options allow drivers to choose the look and feel that best suits their personal preferences.

The Changan Lumin waxy corn is available in two different electric motor versions, with a maximum power output of 30 kW for the clear sweet and fragrant sweet models, and 35 kW for the honey-sweet model. All versions have a maximum speed of 101 km/h.

The car is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and under the CLTC standard, it is available in three different versions with a range of 155 kilometers, 210 kilometers, and 301 kilometers. This range of options allows drivers to choose the model that best meets their needs in terms of both power and range.
