Chery Group sold 22,185 new electric vehicles in September

Chery Holding Group is now releasing a monthly sales report. In September this year, Chery Group sold 145,380 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 92.1%, setting a historical record for monthly sales for three consecutive months. In the first three quarters of this year, Chery Group sold a total of 893,930 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 37.3%.


Chery Group sold 22,185 new electric vehicles (including new electric passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles) in September, a year-on-year increase of 135.8%; from January to September, the cumulative sales were 188,539, a year-on-year increase of 190.7%.


According to reports, Chery's new energy-pure electric passenger vehicle has created the top three in the market share of its own brand and the ninth in global new electric vehicle sales this year. At present, Chery Group has launched a number of new electric products such as Chery Ant, QQ Ice Cream, Tiggo 8 PLUS Kunpeng e+, Starway Chasing ET-i, Jietu Dasheng i-DM, and Wujie Pro.


Among the major passenger car brands of Chery Group, Chery Automobile sold 112,980 units in September, up 112.6% year-on-year; the cumulative sales from January to September were 679,863 units, up 55% year-on-year. Starway Motors sold 7,840 units in September, up 111.5% year-on-year; from January to September, it sold 36,412 units, up 67% year-on-year. Jetour Motor sold 19,018 units in September, up 89.6% year-on-year; from January to September, it sold 115,734 units, up 11.8% year-on-year.
