China-led international standard for global management of distributed cloud is officially released

According to the official WeChat account of the "China Academy of Information and Communications Technology", in September 2022, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) officially released the distributed cloud global management framework standard: ITU-T Y.3538 Cloud computing - Global management framework of distributed cloud.


The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology stated that this international standard was led by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (“China Academy of Information and Communications Technology”), China Unicom, China Mobile, and other units to define and standardize distributed cloud in terms of general architecture and functional requirements. Global management capabilities.


The release of the ITU-T Y.3538 international standard is an important standardization achievement in the distributed cloud field. Through the coordinated linkage of international and domestic standards, China's dominance in distributed cloud standardization will be further enhanced.


The "Distributed Cloud Global Management Framework" standard regulates management requirements in terms of resources, data, platform services, application services, operation and maintenance management, and security.

  • Resource management includes computing (virtual machines, containers, etc.), storage, network, and other distributed basic resource management capabilities;

  • Data management includes distributed data management capabilities such as data processing, transmission, encryption, and storage;

  • Platform service management includes platform-level management capabilities such as platform services, interfaces, and functions;

  • Application management includes application layer management capabilities such as user-oriented business applications;

  • Operation and maintenance management includes distributed operation and maintenance management capabilities such as resource scheduling, deployment, monitoring operation, and maintenance;

  • Security management includes distributed cloud security risk management capabilities.
