When the curtain was opened on Czinger Vehicle's Hyper GT last weekend at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Motor Week, performance manufacturers from across the world took note. Others were concerned not by the appearance of the attractive two-door machine, nor by the possibility of a competitive price. Czinger is well recognized for its high performance and revolutionary 3D printing production procedures, which have helped the business establish itself as a futuristic presence among hypercar manufacturers. And the Hyper GT, a more comfortable yet powerful four-seat coupe, should be able to compete with the greatest sports coupes from recognized luxury companies.

Hybrid drive system

At the moment, information on the Hyper GT is scarce. We know it will have gull-wing doors and an aerodynamic design inspired on the Czinger 21C, as well as the same powerplant utilized in previous vehicles of the brand: a 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and two electric motors driven by an 800-volt network. This combo generates a total of 1,250 horsepower, a significant quantity even in a world where 2,000 hp is becoming increasingly common.

The Hyper GT is inherently larger than its tandem-seat hypercar counterparts, but only slightly. According to Czinger, the back seat will be suitable for 95% of people.

In an interview, company founder and CEO Kevin Czinger stated, "It's like a gasket you'd have on a car like a BMW M2 where you have genuine headroom." It's not like a Mustang, where space is limited, but it's a true grand tourer that can go great distances with four full-size humans.

Czinger claims that the vehicle will benefit from the company's own human AI and 3D printing production capabilities, which will assist balance the power-to-weight ratio of this bigger automobile. The dependability of Czinger's innovative manufacturing method will be challenged when the Hyper GT follows in the footsteps of the 21C Max into the assembly line. This production approach has proven to be so effective that other automakers have followed suit.

According to Czinger, we will have one plant in the UK and one in the EU, both of which will open in 2024 for six different major vehicle brands. This is essentially Amazon Web Services for automobiles.

While other manufacturers are interested in the new production method, they will have to continue purchasing it from Czinger for the time being. The company is a first-tier supplier, and it will not license the system to anyone. In addition, Czinger intends to sell 80 units of the 21C, with the first deliveries anticipated for the fourth quarter of 2023 via the company's global distributor network.

A varied offer

Beyond selling manufacturing technologies, Czinger's future is defined by the Hyper GT and the brand's global development as a hypercar producer. Czinger did announce his ambitions to provide roughly a half-dozen distinct models over the next seven years, despite the fact that he couldn't divulge the style of the automobiles to come. Although this is an optimistic estimate, it is a true test of the company's design and manufacturing procedures.

The Hyper GT is believed to be less expensive than the 21C, which is projected to cost $2 million, but there is still potential for a seven-figure price tag. The four-adult coupe demonstrates that Czinger isn't simply interested in setting circuit lap records. As more information on the Hyper GT becomes available, it will be evident where the grand tourer fits in the market, and we can't wait to get our hands on one.
