Destiny 2 Developer Bungie: New Work Is Being Developed, But the Game Will Not Be Abandoned

Bungie, the developer of the popular online multiplayer game Destiny 2, has announced that it is working on a new game called Marathon. This has led to some concerns among fans that Destiny 2 will be neglected in favor of the new project.

In a recent Reddit post, a Bungie community manager addressed these concerns, stating that the company has no plans to abandon Destiny 2. The community manager acknowledged that Bungie is a smaller studio than some of its competitors, but said that the team is committed to supporting both Destiny 2 and Marathon.

"We know that some of you are worried about Destiny 2 being abandoned after Marathon launches," the community manager wrote. "We want to assure you that this is not the case. We are committed to supporting both games for the foreseeable future."

The community manager went on to say that Bungie has a team of developers who are dedicated to working on Destiny 2. These developers will continue to create new content and updates for the game, even after Marathon is released.

"We understand that Destiny 2 is a very important game to many of you," the community manager wrote. "We want to assure you that we are committed to keeping it alive and well for years to come."

Bungie's response to fan concerns is a welcome one. Destiny 2 is a popular game with a large and dedicated player base. It would be a shame to see the game neglected in favor of a new project.
