Foxtron Model B: Arrives from Taiwan to compete with the VW ID3

Foxconn is a Taiwanese company that produces, among other things, Amazon iPhones, iPads, and Kindles. With its Foxtron automotive branch (in which Yulon, another vehicle firm, participates), and its new Model B, the Asian corporation is returning to the four-wheel market. They had previously released two more cars, as well as a tractor line. It's odd that the announcement wasn't made by this firm, but by Pininfarina, which exhibits the automobile in a 30-second film on its YouTube account. This video just shows the outside design. Among the Model B's eccentricities (a name that may very well be Tesla), a front in which daylight runs through the entire bumper sticks out, while behind, the pilots have a little screen at the ends on which messages are displayed. Other road users will see animated notifications. Traditional rearview mirrors are being replaced with cameras.

Because the wheels are located at the extremities, everything appears to imply that the passenger compartment will be wide (the battle promises to be great) the wheels.

When will it arrive?

At the present, we know that this still prototype will make its formal debut on October 18 at the Hon Hai Tech Day exhibition. It is expected that the Model B will cost approximately 25,000 dollars in China for a configuration with a motor and 4x2 drive, while the price would jump somewhat to between 30-35,000 euros for a configuration with two propellers and 4x4. From then on, we will provide you with all of the information and photographs about this intriguing vehicle, which will compete with the future Model 2 as well as its cousins VW ID.3 and Cupra Born, or Jaguar i-Pace, Nissan Leaf...
