GAC Aian Holdings' Rui Pai Power Technology Co. Begins Construction on Self-Developed Electric Drive

GAC Aian Holdings' Rui Pai Power has officially begun construction on its self-developed IDU electric drive system and electronic control. The company, located in the GAC Zhilian New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park, was jointly funded and established by GAC Group, GAC Aian, and GAC Passenger Vehicle. It is controlled by GAC Aian and has received a total investment of 2.16 billion yuan, covering an area of 104,000 square meters.

Rui Pai Power Technology Co., Ltd. will focus on the development and industrialization of its IDU electric drive system and electronic control. It aims to integrate the research and development, intelligent manufacturing, sales, and service of these technologies to create a comprehensive solution for electric drive and control.

This construction project is an exciting development for GAC Aian and its partners, as it represents a significant investment in the future of electric vehicle technology. The company's focus on independent electric drive and control research and development is a key aspect of its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

In addition to its focus on the development and industrialization of electric drive and control technologies, Rui Pai Power Technology Co., Ltd. also has ambitious production goals for the future. The factory is expected to complete the delivery of the plant by the end of 2023, and by 2025, it aims to achieve an annual output of 400,000 sets of IDU electric drive system assemblies. This is a significant increase in production capacity and will help the company meet the growing demand for electric drive systems in the market.

In addition to the IDU electric drive system assemblies, the factory also aims to produce an annual output of 100,000 sets of motors and electric motors for GMC hybrid electromechanical coupling systems. This will further expand the company's capabilities in the field of electric vehicle technology and help it meet the needs of its customers.

GAC Aian has a strong track record in the field of electric drive and control technology, and its efforts have resulted in a number of innovative products. In 2018, the company launched its integrated three-in-one electric drive, which combines electric drive, electric control, and differential reduction into a single system. This technology has a number of benefits, including a weight reduction of 20%, a volume reduction of 15%, an increase in power of 14%, and an increase in torque of 20%.

In 2020, Aian released its high-performance two-speed dual-motor "four-in-one" integrated electric drive technology, which has the ability to accelerate from zero to 100 times in just two seconds. This impressive speed and performance make it a key player in the electric vehicle market and demonstrate the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.

GAC Aian's expertise in electric drive and control technology was further demonstrated in September of last year when the company released its supercar, the Hyper SSR. This impressive vehicle boasts an acceleration capability of 1.9 seconds to 100, making it one of the fastest electric cars on the market.

The Hyper SSR is powered by a two-speed four-in-one high-performance electric drive, which has a total power density of 3.87kW per Kg and a peak speed of 22,000 rpm. It also features a 900V electric drive and a silicon carbide chip high-voltage system, which together support a peak torque of 12,000 N·m on the wheels and a maximum output power of 1,225 PS.

This impressive array of technologies demonstrates GAC Aian's commitment to developing advanced electric drive and control systems that can power high-performance vehicles. It is clear that the company is at the forefront of the electric vehicle industry, and we look forward to seeing what it will achieve in the future.
