Geely officially learned that the RD6, the first mass-produced model of Geely Holding's pure electric pickup brand Radar, was officially mass-produced and pre-sold at the Zibo Smart Factory in Shandong a few days ago. The Radar brand was officially announced in July this year, and the Radar RD6 is the first mass-produced model. Geely Holding stated that the Radar RD6 is the first pure electric platform pickup in China based on Geely’s pure electric platform and technical architecture.
In terms of the three-electric system, the radar RD6 is equipped with a 200kW high-power three-in-one electric drive, which can accelerate from 100 kilometers to 6 seconds. It uses high-energy density Ni55 batteries, which can achieve 610km + long battery life, and has a maximum 120kW fast charging function, the official said. The battery life can reach 120km after 15 minutes of charging.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the Radar RD6 is equipped with dual 12.3-inch large screens and a 9-inch full-color HUD, which can open a human-vehicle dialogue through "Hello, Xiaolei", and is also equipped with 12 L2+ level intelligent driving assistance functions.
The Radar RD6 adopts a four-wheel independent suspension, has a body of nearly 5.3m and a minimum turning diameter of 12.2m, and is also equipped with a 55-inch giant-screen panoramic sunroof. In addition, the radar RD6 supports the versatile loading space and full-scene discharge function and provides three core loading spaces, including a 70L hidden storage front trunk, a 48L rear seat storage magic space, and a 1200L variable rear bucket storage space. According to reports, the radar RD6 pioneered a full-scene discharge mode in the industry and is equipped with a 6kW super-power external discharge function in the rear bucket.
