Google improves Google Workspace productivity on Android tablets

In a recently updated blog post, Google has optimized the productivity performance of its applications on Android tablets, and the most noteworthy thing is the improvement of the drag-and-drop function. Google said that the slide tool Slides is used on the tablet, and the text and pictures in the slide can be dragged and dropped into other applications in split-screen mode.

The whole operation is also very simple, users only need to open Slides and another application in split-screen mode. Tap and hold the element you want to move in the slideshow, and drag it into the target application. Apps like Google Keep have added this feature before, so it should be available in the Google Workspace app.

The new version of Google Drive not only optimizes the drag-and-drop operation on the tablet but also makes it easier to drag and drop files and folders. Users only need to open two Google Drives at the same time in split-screen mode, then they can drag and drop some files from one file path to another.

Google Docs has gained full mouse support on Android tablets. This allows tablet users to use the same full mouse functionality they have on the web. This means you can now click and drag text to select that part instead of panning the entire document.
