Google is advancing ChromeOS' Material You design revamp

After nearly a year of development, Google's Material You design transformation for ChromeOS has taken shape. ChromeOS introduced dynamic colors in the latest transformation and completed the redesign of Quick Setting.

The most noteworthy improvement in this transformation is the Material You dynamic color, which allows your Chromebook to match the appropriate theme color with the current wallpaper. The feature first appeared in Android 12, and Google is now bringing it to ChromeOS.

The Quick Setting area has also received major improvements. ChromeOS notifications are now in a separate area, to the left of the calendar, rather than above the quick settings. The quick settings themselves have also been redesigned. The sliders, icons, etc. have been redesigned, and the style of the Pixel mobile phone has been unified.
