9to5Google discovered a new version of the Nearby Share interface that has not yet been released in the latest APK Insight event. The new version of the interface incorporates the third-generation Material You design elements, showing various shapes on the back of your name.
The text part on the new interface of Nearby Share is further enlarged and displayed in the center. Google also zoomed in on share previews, now putting them in a card with an icon to better notice what's being shared.
Nearby Share is a function of Android and Chrome OS. After users enable this function, they can transmit data to nearby user devices through Bluetooth, WebRTC and Wi-Fi, and can quickly exchange pictures with surrounding users. Videos, texts, contact information, YouTube videos and other data. The feature was officially released on August 4, 2020.
