Huge 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban SUVs Unveiled

Chevrolet has unveiled updated versions of the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban SUVs that offer more V8 engine options and Google smarter capabilities available in nearly every model. Basically, the Suburban is a lengthened version of the Tahoe. The rest of the differences between the models are minimal.

Buyers can choose between a 6.2-liter V8, a 5.3-liter V8, or a 3.0-liter Duramax inline six-cylinder turbo diesel engine. Buyers can also opt for an electronic limited-slip differential for the Tahoe and Suburban Z71, which Chevy says further improves traction in mud.

Digital technology is of greater interest: all Chevy Tahoe and Suburban 2022 models (except LT) will receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with four patterns that you can freely switch between. With built-in support for Google apps and services, your entertainment and entertainment system natively offers you direct access to Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Assistant.

In addition, you can connect your smartphone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as call the Google Assistant to not only get directions and make calls but also regulate the operation of car systems, including setting the climate control. You can also adjust the volume with your voice. Chevrolet said the list of available features will expand over time.

On the safety front, the company has added two more SUV technologies as part of its Chevy Safety Assist program. These technologies come standard on all Tahoe and Suburban models: Front and Rear Parking Assist and Lane Keeping Assist with Departure Warning. They are connected to other systems such as automatic emergency braking and automatic high beam switching.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but SUVs remain in short supply due to chip shortages. General Motors will begin production of the refurbished vehicles this October.
