Introducing "My Car Key": the Convenient and Secure Digital Key Solution from Tencent Smart Mobility

Tencent Smart Mobility and Yinji have announced a new digital key product called "My Car Key". This innovative product is integrated into the WeChat ecosystem and uses the WeChat applet as a carrier to bring users a lightweight and convenient digital car key service. The key can be quickly shared with friends through the WeChat social relationship chain.

"My Car Key" is a comprehensive digital key solution that combines both a device and cloud service. Users can access the service through the WeChat applet, which does not need to be downloaded or installed. Once registered and bound, the mobile phone can open and close the door lock, start the car, remotely control the car, check the car's condition, and share the key with others.

The use of the WeChat applet allows for a lightweight and convenient digital key function, as well as agile iteration and immediate use. This new product offers a more efficient and convenient way for users to access their cars, making it easier for them to share keys with friends and family.

In addition to the convenience and ease of use provided by the integration with the WeChat ecosystem, "My Car Key" also offers two major advantages. Firstly, it supports social sharing through WeChat. "My Car Key" can also be utilized in various car-related situations to provide convenience and efficiency. For example, during the test drive stage of purchasing a car, users can simply make an appointment for a test drive service through WeChat, select the desired model and nearest 4S store, and then receive the digital key for a smooth driving experience.

In after-car service scenarios, such as valet driving, valet energy replenishment, valet repair, valet car wash, and valet 4S shop maintenance, car owners can authorize the digital key to service personnel through WeChat, enabling a contactless, cross-time and space keyless service handover.

In the vehicle research and development stage, digital keys can also assist car manufacturers in coordinating and dispatching test vehicles more efficiently, allowing for the transformation of offline management into digital online management.

Currently, the "My Car Key" jointly launched by Tencent Smart Mobility and Yinji is being used with the bZ4X, the first pure electric SUV under GAC Toyota. Digital keys offer several advantages over traditional car keys, including enhanced security, convenience, and intelligence.
