LONGi Green Energy has established the Future Energy Space Laboratory

The LONGi Green Energy Future Energy Space Laboratory was officially announced at the Xi'an No. 9 Cosmic Interactive Deep Space Science Research Base.

According to the official introduction, LONGi Green Energy Future Energy Space Laboratory aims to promote the integrated development of aerospace technology and new energy, the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and will focus on efficient and leading technology products, safe and reliable space verification, and excellence in aerospace quality in the future, energy trends of future development and other four key breakthroughs, including but not limited to research and foreign cooperation in new energy industry trends, solar energy and aerospace integration, space environment verification, energy monitoring satellites, and solar space transmission.

Through the relevant work of the laboratory, the advanced technology of future energy will be verified in space, and the development of future energy-related technologies will be promoted with space verification, and finally, the results of space will benefit people's lives through the research and development and application of solar energy technology.

At the same time, as the first major project after the establishment of the Future Energy Space Laboratory, LONGi's new technology products will be applied for space-carrying, subject to the strict space environment test, and explore the reliability of new products in the space environment. Combined with the experimental results carried out in space, the actual environment of outer space is simulated on the ground, and the changes in the relevant performance of the product are monitored, which lays a theoretical and experimental foundation for promoting the practical application of the product and broadens the application field of the product. This means that LONGi may launch solar panels into space in the future.

At the scene, Dr. Xu Xixiang, deputy director of LONGi Green Energy Central Research Institute, will also send samples of new technology products that are planned to be carried in space.

The team of Dong Shiwei of the Chinese Academy of Space Technology published a paper in "China Space Science and Technology" in June this year, saying that China will launch a test satellite in 2028 to test the 400 kilometers from space to the ground. Wireless power transfer technology, the construction of China's first solar power plant in space in 2028, is two years ahead of schedule.

LONGi Green Energy is the world's largest photovoltaic company and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2012.
