Lynk & Co Unveils Its Latest Mid-Size SUV, the 08, at Shanghai Debut


Lynk & Co, the Swedish-Chinese carmaker, has unveiled its latest mid-size SUV, the 08, at its Shanghai debut. This new SUV is a large 5-seater new energy medium-sized SUV, which boasts a sleek exterior design and advanced technological features.


Exterior Design of Lynk & Co 08


The Lynk & Co 08 is based on The Next Day design language, which gives it a distinctive look. It features a semi-closed front face design with a "Dawn Light" daytime running lights and through-type taillights. The SUV has a length, width, and height of 4820/1915/1685mm and a wheelbase of 2848mm. It comes with hidden door handles, 21-inch wheels, and two color options, crystal green and sun silver.


Interior Design of Lynk & Co 08


The interior of the Lynk & Co 08 is equally impressive, equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.4-inch floating central control screen, providing the driver with a complete overview of the vehicle's operation. The SUV also boasts a 92-inch AR-HUD system, three interior color schemes, and a Harman Kardon audio system, delivering an immersive audio experience.



Meizu Flyme Auto Car System and Yigatong Antola 1000 Pro Computing Platform


Lynk & Co 08 will be the first car model to be equipped with the Meizu Flyme Auto in-car system, which comes with a customized version of QQ music. The specific functions of this system will be announced at the Meizu 20 series press conference on March 30. Additionally, the SUV will debut the Yigatong Antola 1000 Pro computing platform, which integrates two 7nm car-grade SoC "Dragon Eagle One" instead of the previous Qualcomm car-machine chip.


Powerful Engine Performance of Lynk & Co 08


The Lynk & Co 08 is equipped with a newly developed four-cylinder electric hybrid engine and a dedicated electric hybrid gearbox under the Lynk E-Motive intelligent electric hybrid system. It is expected to be a 1.5T Raytheon intelligent electric hybrid system. During the first run, the thermal efficiency of the engine reached 44.26%, which is claimed to be the first among known mass-produced engines.
