Madden NFL 23: Server Failure and Data Corruption Issues

Madden NFL 23 players were shocked to learn that Electronic Art (EA) admitted to problems with the game's cloud data storage, resulting in 60% of Franchise mode saves being permanently corrupted. This has left many players feeling frustrated and upset, as they have invested countless hours into building up their teams and progress within the game.

In an update to the previous information, it has been clarified that not all data for Madden NFL 23 has been corrupted. Only those players who logged in on December 28th and 29th were affected by the issue. EA has stated that out of the affected saves, 40% are recoverable.

This news brings some relief to players who were previously worried about the status of their saved progress. However, there is still a significant percentage of affected players who will be unable to recover their lost data.

It was later revealed that this was due to a server failure that occurred at around 4 am on December 29th, Beijing time. The fault lasted for approximately 10 hours, and only affected players who logged in to the game during this time. Players who did not log in during the server failure were not affected by the issue.

Madden NFL is a popular sports game produced by EA North Carolina Studio and published by EA on the Nintendo 3DS platform. The series first launched in March 2011 and has released new installments regularly since then. The latest game in the series, Madden NFL 23, is set to launch in August 2022.
