Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Sells Over 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide in First 24 Hours

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide in its first 24 hours of release, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game of all time.

This impressive sales figure is likely due to a number of factors, including the critical acclaim of the original game, the excitement surrounding the new story and gameplay features, and the fact that Spider-Man is one of the most popular superheroes in the world.

In the UK, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 debuted at the top of the weekly physical game rankings, behind only Tears of the Kingdom, EA Sports FC, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is available now exclusively for PlayStation 5.
