Microsoft AI Assistant Copilot Now Integrated with PDF Files for Quick Help

In a recent development, Microsoft's AI assistant Copilot has been integrated with PDF files, allowing users to access its helpful features directly within PDF documents while using the Edge browser. This integration is expected to enhance productivity and streamline the PDF experience for users worldwide.

When a user selects a word or phrase within a PDF file, a small drop-down menu will appear, offering multiple options. One of these options is "Ask Copilot." Clicking on this option will open a pane with Bing Chat on the right side of the screen, enabling users to quickly obtain relevant information or assistance related to the selected text.

This update also introduces a notable change in Copilot's icon color, shifting from its original hue to a more vibrant blue. This color change aligns with the overall design aesthetic of Microsoft's products and services.

The integration of Copilot with PDF files represents a significant step forward in enhancing the functionality and usability of PDF documents. Users can now leverage Copilot's capabilities to gain insights, translate text, generate creative content, and receive personalized suggestions while working with PDFs.
