Microsoft launches Minit process mining preview to help companies improve business operation

Microsoft acquired Minit in March this year, which focuses on process mining to help organizations improve business operational efficiency and help companies revolutionize the way they analyze and optimize their processes. Months after the acquisition and integration, Microsoft recently announced the launch of a preview version of Minit Process Mining, which allows customers to improve operational processes through process advisors in Microsoft Power Automate.

Microsoft said the purpose of the acquisition is to assist its customers to achieve digital transformation and drive operational excellence by creating a complete business process map that enables each process to be easily and automatically analyzed and improved.


Minit launched a preview version of Process Advisor today, providing several templates that allow customers to easily gain insight into the entire process from Power Automate's cloud data flow, as well as from Microsoft Power Virtual Agents and other systems of record (such as SAP). Process systems, enabling clients to understand, enhance and adapt their processes in an evolving marketplace.


What's more, with newly added capabilities within Power Automate, customers will be able to identify bottlenecks in their processes and reduce complexity and cost. Included features include:

  • Drive optimized templates with low-code automation

  • Extract business insights from cloud-based data streams from Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and other systems of record such as SAP

  • Automatically identify repetitive activities across processes, pinpoint and eliminate the root cause and impact of rework

  • Easily customizable and shareable reports that can be published to workspaces through Power BI Premium
