Microsoft previews new Whiteboard features

According to the update of the Microsoft 365 roadmap page, Microsoft is planning to add a new feature to the Microsoft Whiteboard application that allows users to copy and paste dynamic Loop components from other Microsoft 365 applications.

Microsoft has added Loop Components to Microsoft Teams Chat. This feature is designed to provide users with a unique way to think, plan and create together in any environment, especially in the current context of hybrid work.

This feature allows users to send components such as forms or to-do lists, and then everyone with permission can edit them and view the modification history. In turn, this makes it easier for people to collaborate on projects, exchange ideas, and make decisions.

Users will be able to copy/paste, view and edit live Loop components in Microsoft Whiteboard. This functionality is controlled by creating and viewing loop files in Microsoft applications that support the Loop OCPS policy, which applies to all Microsoft applications that support the Loop component.

Microsoft Loop is a new application that combines a powerful and flexible canvas with portable components that can move freely and stay in sync between Microsoft 365 applications.
