NASA Awards Major Contract to CACI Federal for Simulation and Software Technology

NASA announced on Wednesday that CACI Federal of Chantilly, Virginia, has been awarded the Simulation and Software Technology III contract. This contract will provide crucial support and related services to the agency's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The single-award contract will be effective from March 1 and will continue till September 30, 2027.


NASA's Johnson Space Center to Receive Support from CACI Federal


The Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate will receive support from CACI Federal for its Software, Robotics, and Simulation; Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics; Propulsion and Power, and Avionics divisions. In addition, other organizations within NASA will also receive support from CACI Federal under this contract.


The Capabilities of the Contract


The Simulation and Software Technology III contract will have the capability to issue cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-priced task orders. The maximum contract value of the contract is not to exceed $150 million. The contract will be an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which means that the delivery and quantity of services will be as per NASA's requirements.
