Tesla Changes Free Standard Color of Model Y/3 in North America to Luminous Silver

Tesla has changed the standard color of its Model Y and Model 3 vehicles in North America to luminous silver. This means that customers who order a new Tesla in North America will no longer have to pay extra for this color. All other colors, including black and white, will now come with an additional charge.

The change in standard color comes after Tesla received feedback from customers who said they were interested in more unique and stylish paint options. Luminous silver is a metallic gray color that is said to be both elegant and understated. It is also a relatively rare color, which means that Tesla owners who choose it will be sure to stand out from the crowd.

The change in standard color does not affect Tesla's pricing in China. In China, the standard color for the Model Y and Model 3 remains black. However, customers in China who want to choose a different color will still have to pay an additional charge.

The change in standard color is the latest in a series of changes that Tesla has made to its lineup in recent months. In April, the company announced that it would be increasing the prices of its vehicles in North America. Tesla also said that it would be slowing production of its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in order to focus on improving quality.
