The Audi TT is nearing the end of its life cycle, and as a farewell, the four-ringed brand has already begun to release special models. The last one is directed towards the European continent and is dubbed Iconic Edition, as a clear tribute to the iconic German sports car's 25-year history. For the occasion, the carmaker has created a number of eye-catching aerodynamic elements as well as other aesthetic embellishments that will make this edition one of the most distinctive of the model.

It all starts with the outside color, which will be the only choice, a shade of Nardo Gray, in conjunction with 20-inch gloss black wheels with a seven-spoke design and matching brake calipers. The latter finish can also be seen on the front grille, which has a distinctive matt black surround, as well as the side skirts, external mirror caps, and model logos on both sides.

The tiny side windows are not only blacked out but also have the distinctive "iconic edition" badging, completing the coupé's dramatic dark appearance all the way to the back. Already in the back shows one of the key distinguishing features of this edition, a fixed carbon fiber spoiler that is part of the wind tunnel aerodynamic equipment. The kit also has a stunning diffuser with vertical pieces at the ends, while the splitter and canards stand out at the front. Audi has chosen two-tone RS seats trimmed in fine gray Nappa on the edges and black Alcantara in the center, with marigold yellow honeycomb stitching.

This new hue can be seen in a variety of features around the cabin, including the sports leather steering wheel with a 12 o'clock mark and the mat embroidered. The door panels are similarly made of Alcantara, and the gear knob has a numbered emblem. The finishing touch is provided by a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with 3D sound.

However, nothing beats the symphony of the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine that lurks beneath the hood in terms of acoustics. This hasn't changed, so it still boasts 400 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, along with a seven-speed S Tronic automatic transmission that works with the brand's Quattro drive system. With all of its technology, this automobile can hit 100 km/h from a standstill in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 280 km/h. "The name of the iconic Audi TT RS Coupé edition says it all." The limited edition model is inspired by the classic TT design language, which embodies daring and elegance in an uncompromising shape. The much-appreciated performance of our ultimate sports coupe, with its multi-award-winning five-cylinder engine, is not only felt but also apparent to fans, thanks to distinctive external and interior aesthetics," says Sebastian Grams, General Manager of Audi Sport Gmbh.

As previously stated, the Audi TT RS legendary edition will be available exclusively in Europe, and manufacturing will be restricted to 100 cars. The first units will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023, with pricing starting at 113,050 euros on the German market. We shall be watching for announcements of interest rates in our country.
