The first World Top Scientists Association Award was announced in Shanghai

According to the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, on September 29th, the first 2022 World Top Scientists Association Award was officially announced in Shanghai, China.


American computer science and statistician Michael I. Jordan won the "Intelligence Science or Mathematics Award" for his "fundamental contribution to the theoretical basis of machine learning and its applications"; German biochemist Die Dirk Görlich was awarded the Life Science or Medicine Prize for his "key discoveries on the mechanism and selectivity of protein transport between the cytoplasm and nucleus".


The prize money for each individual award is 10 million yuan, and the two winners will come to Shanghai to attend the award ceremony in early November this year.


The World's Top Scientists Association Award is awarded once a year. Currently, the "Intelligent Science or Mathematics Award" and "Life Science or Medicine Award" are established. The individual bonus amount is 10 million yuan, ranking among the scientific awards with the highest award amount in the world. List.
