Twitter plans to address people's long-standing complaints through its mobile app. And if you frequently use the platform's mobile app, you may have noticed that tweets sometimes disappear while reading them. You see this happen when your timeline is refreshed, and it often happens when many people reply to a single Tweet.

The company said, we know it was a frustrating experience. So we're working on changing it, adding that it plans to roll out a variety of updates over the next couple of months to address the issue.

The platform did not explain what these changes might look like. But it promised that it keeps your schedule up to date while preventing tweets from disappearing as you read them. A tweet can push the timeline up while adding replies to an ongoing conversation, the company said. Since some conversations can progress quickly, this has resulted in the same Tweet not being seen again in the timeline. In a tweet replying to a user, the company's support account explained what it's trying to fix more simply: We want you to be able to stop and read a Tweet without it disappearing from view.

Although it is not clear what changes the platform plans to make. But the fixes could be welcome for people affected by the disappearance of tweets. The platform has been testing several new features in recent months, for example, the company recently said that it will begin testing a tool to remove followers sometime this month. It has also recently started rolling out its community feature to users. The company recently started rolling out a new Timeline look, which looks a lot like Facebook's News Feed.

A new timeline design takes photos, videos, and GIFs and puts them in full-screen mode. This change gives the app an edge-to-edge design that eliminates margins on the sides.
