Wuling Baojun New Energy Vehicles: No Price Increase Before Spring Festival, Air EV Offers Advanced

Wuling Motors has announced that they will not be raising prices on their new energy vehicles before the Spring Festival on January 22nd. This is good news for those looking to purchase a Wuling Baojun New Energy vehicle, as they will still be able to take advantage of the current prices. The Wuling Air EV starts at 67,800 yuan, the Hongguang MINIEV starts at 32,800 yuan, the Hongguang MINIEV GAMEBOY starts at 55,800 yuan, and the KiWi EV starts at 77,800 yuan.


According to the November sales rankings by the Passenger Federation, BYD Automobile is currently the top manufacturer of new energy vehicles with 217,624 units sold. Tesla China comes in second with 62,493 units sold, and SAIC-GM-Wuling is third with 34,510 units sold. The top three new energy car rankings are currently held by the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV with 31,982 units sold, the BYD Han with 31,580 units sold, and the BYD Qin. Other top manufacturers include Geely Automobile, GAC Aian, Changan Automobile, Nezha Automobile, Li Auto, Weilai Automobile, SAIC Motor, Great Wall Motor, Chery Automobile, SAIC Volkswagen, Dongfeng Fengshen, and Celes Automobile.


In addition to the announcement that they will not be raising prices before the Spring Festival, Wuling Motors also has a new addition to their lineup with the recent launch of the Wuling Air EV in December. The Wuling Air EV has a starting price of 67,800-82,800 yuan and boasts a simple, four-color exterior design. The interior features a two-color theme and the vehicle has a cruising range of 300km. It also offers various charging modes, including DC fast charging, and is equipped with the Ling OS Lingxi system. Overall, the Wuling Air EV appears to be a promising new addition to the Wuling Baojun New Energy lineup.

The Wuling Air EV has dimensions of 2974mm in length, 1505mm in width, and 1631mm in height. It is available in two versions, one with a wheelbase of 1653mm for a two-seater configuration and one with a wheelbase of 2010mm for a four-seater configuration. This makes the Air EV slightly larger than the Hongguang MINIEV.


In terms of exterior design, the Air EV boasts a minimalist look and comes in four color options: white, blue, gray, and coffee. It is equipped with full LED lights, front and rear through lights, a Wuling luminous logo, rear fog lights, and LED high-mounted brake lights. The interior of the Air EV offers two layout options, a two-seater, and a four-seater, and is available in a dark or light two-color scheme. The advanced version even comes with leather seats. The driver's seat supports four-way adjustments and the rear seats of the four-seater version can recline independently and offer a 5/5-point reclining feature. The trunk space of the Air EV can reach up to 704L. Overall, the Wuling Air EV offers a range of features and options to suit a variety of needs and preferences.


The Wuling Air EV is equipped with a range of advanced technological features, including a 10.25-inch dual screen and the Wuling-developed Ling OS Lingxi system. It also offers a mobile app remote car control, allowing users to remotely view the status of their vehicle and access features such as Bluetooth key, air conditioning control, remote start, remote door opening, and closing, lift windows, scheduled charging, and remaining battery power information.


In terms of power endurance, the Air EV has a cruising range of 300km and is equipped with a 50kW high-efficiency motor. It offers three charging modes: DC fast charging, AC charging pile, and household socket + charging gun. The four-seater version is equipped with DC fast charging, which allows for a charging time of only 45 minutes from 30% to 80%. Overall, the Wuling Air EV is a technologically advanced and efficient vehicle that offers a range of features for convenience and power endurance.
